Screamfest "Mom and Dad" Cast and Crew Q&A featuring Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair
Screamfest Horror Film Festival is the largest and longest running horror film festival in the United States. The festival, founded by Rachel Belofsky, held it's 17th edition this past October and for the first time ever held a world premiere, for the film DEAD ANT, in the world famous Grauman's Chinese IMAX Theatre. While the festival only runs in October, throughout the year Screamfest hosts screenings of fan favorite films and sneak previews of films sure to become faves as well.
Recently the festival hosted a sold out advanced screening of Brian Taylor's MOM AND DAD at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood, CA. In the film, a teenage girl and her little brother try to survive a wild 24 hours during which a mass hysteria of unknown origins causes parents to turn violently on their own children. The screening featured a Q&A following the film, moderated by Birth. Movies. Death.'s Brian Collins, and in attendance were stars Selma Blair, Zachary Arthur, Anne Winters and producers Tim Zajaros and Christopher Lemole. Those fortunate enough to get tickets to the sold out event were in for a treat when they were informed Nicolas Cage will also appear and participate in the Q&A.

Reader Eric Elick was in attendance and literally had a front row seat to the action. He recorded the full Q&A and was gracious enough to share with you what only a few hundred lucky souls were able to witness that night in Hollywood.
Thank you Eric for filming and sharing the event with us and thank you Screamfest for your ongoing support of the genre and for hosting such cool events throughout the year.
Enjoy!
