Scout Taylor-Compton stars in "Cynthia"
Scout Taylor-Compton takes aim in the upcoming dark horror/comedy "Cynthia."
Kenny Gage and Devon Downs, the writers and directors of last years Anarchy Parlor, return with their latest film Cynthia. The duo are also producing the film which was written by "Girls & Corpses" founder Robert Rhine.
Cynthia tells the tale of a perfect couple, their growing obsession with wanting to have a child and the darkly horrifying and comedic depths that obsession takes them.
The film stars Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie's Halloween), Kyle Jones (The Blackout) and Rebecca Marshall (Cooties). It also features some notable genre icons such as Sid Haig (The Devil's Rejects), Bill Moseley (TCM2), James Karen (Poltergeist), Lynn Lowry (Cat People) and Robert LaSardo (Anarchy Parlor).
The film recently wrapped principal photography and is anticipated to be released in 2017.
