2016 Oscar Predictions
It's a feat that I've only managed to accomplish just a few times. Over fifty features and short films are nominated for an Academy Award and last night I watched the last remaining nominee I had yet to watch. Since the nominations were announced I watched 19 feature films and 3 short film programs. Yup, I watched "Fifty Shades of Grey." Why would someone want to watch every single nominee? Well for one I love movies. Also, it doesn't hurt to have an educated opinion about the nominees when it comes time to make predictions. To tell the truth, last year I watched every nominee and correctly picked 16 of 24 categories so the only benefit I got out of it was being able to see some great films I otherwise would have missed. It's a new year and with the Oscars airing this weekend it's time to make predictions. Here we go!

I literally made some changes as I was typing this so who will ultimately win is always in flux; which is what's so great about Oscar night...there could be some surprises.
So what do you think? Are my picks pretty sound? Who do you think will win? Who do you think should win or should have been nominated for that matter? Please share your predictions in the comments below.
The Academy Awards, hosted by Chris Rock, airs live this Sunday on ABC at 7:00 pm est / 4:00pm pst.
