Batman v. Superman Advance Tickets on Sale...February 29th!
Warner Bros. has taken to Twitter to annouce that advance ticket sales for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will go open on Monday, February 29th. BvS is the first major event film of 2016, Deadpool came out of nowhere and most people pegged this film as the first big release once its release date was announced, and is expected to open to huge opening weekend.
In the film, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante, the Bat Man, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior. Meanwhile the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
The film was directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio from a screenplay by David S. Goyer, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill, who returns to the role of Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck who takes on the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also features Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, who makes her first cinematic appearance. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, returning from Man of Steel, are joined by Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice opens in theatres worldwide on March 25, 2016. However, it's very likely first showings will begin at 7pm on Thursday, March 24th.
